Murugan Idol :
The main use is as a Murti (sacred image) for daily and special worship in a home temple or prayer room (Pooja Room).
- Daily Worship: Devotees perform Aarti (waving of lamps), offer flowers, incense, water, and Naivedyam (food offerings) to the idol while chanting mantras like “Om Saravana Bhava.”
- Festivals: The idol is the centerpiece for special festivals dedicated to Lord Murugan, such as Skanda Sashti (celebrating his victory over the demon Soorapadman) and Thaipusam.
- Abhishekam: The brass idol is ritually bathed with milk, water, honey, curd, and other auspicious liquids as an act of purification and devotion.
